Benjamin's Homeland: A Tale of Migration, Injustice, and Democracy

In the current state of the world, the opinion of the majority tends towards the West. This is evident from the migration map of the world, where people from all corners of the globe seek refuge and prosperity in developed nations. There are many reasons for this trend, including wars, democracy, infringement of freedom rights, and innovations. However, economic reasons stand out as the primary driver of migration in this new era. People are forced to migrate due to financial difficulties as they cannot live a normal life in their home countries. Unemployment, undervaluation of labour, and unfair distribution of state budgets are some of the reasons for this injustice that plagues the world.

Injustice is prevalent everywhere in the world, although it affects people's daily routines and lives differently. Some people experience it more than others. It is a natural human instinct to desire a good, comfortable, prosperous, and efficient life within the limited time given to us. As the saying goes, "Strange country to live in, motherland to die." In death, people leave behind their deeds, relationships, places visited, and other memories. Therefore, it is necessary to work towards leaving a good legacy of good deeds in this world.

Let us turn our attention to Benjamin. As we know, Turkey is currently in the midst of parliamentary and presidential elections, which started on May 14. It is like a referendum, where people will either choose the West or go in whichever direction the current government leads. Before the elections, the current government was always in the lead in surveys conducted among Turks living abroad. Some people found it hard to believe, but the truth is that the more people move to the West, the more democratic they become. However, this democracy is not the real democracy people desire. It is Benjamin's democracy.

As the dollar rises in Turkey, Turks living abroad protest and feel sad. However, secretly, they benefit from it. On the eve of the elections, Erdogan and his party AKP were still leading in the polls. However, things took a turn as the elections progressed. Economists' speeches on social media screens began to change everything. Propaganda was employed to scare the people and the masses. "Currently, the dollar is 18-20 Turkish lira, if they come to power, the dollar will be 27-30 Turkish lira," they said. However, independent economic experts confirmed these claims. Suddenly, all the Turks living abroad started using their options in favour of the opposition. Nationalist Erdogan lost to Democrat Benjamin.

In conclusion, migration and injustice are the defining themes of our world today. People seek better lives, and injustice is everywhere, although it affects people differently. Democracy may not always be what it seems, and people should work towards leaving behind a good legacy. Benjamin's homeland maybe Turkey, but the principles discussed here apply to all nations.
