"What you seek seeks you."

The earthquake that struck Turkey was a devastating event that claimed the lives of more than 60,000 people and left countless injured and homeless. It is difficult to understand the enormity of such a disaster and its impact on the lives of those affected.

At such moments it is natural to question the meaning of life and the temporal nature of our existence. As the famous Sufi poet Mevlana said, "What you seek seeks you." Perhaps in the midst of this tragedy, we can find solace in the idea that our purpose in life is not just to pursue our own personal pursuits, but to seek ways to help others and make a positive impact in the world.

As we think about the lives lost in this earthquake, let's also think about our own lives and ask ourselves what we can do to make a difference in the lives of others. We can all make a difference, whether by volunteering, donating to relief efforts, or simply being kind to those around us.

Let's honour the memory of those who lost their lives in the Turkey earthquake by taking meaningful steps and living our lives with purpose and compassion.
